Producer helping Producer: Shaun from Zen Cafe takes his coffee very seriously, so seriously that he traveled to Honduras this past winter to meet Rudy Carcamo (pictured below), the farmer cultivating Zens Honduras coffee. By going directly to the source Shaun can ensure he gets the quality hes looking for and that Rudy gets a fair wage. Shaun currently pays Rudy 80% higher than Fair Trade mandates. In addition to this, Shaun is currently raising money to help Rudy start a nursery on his land. Come to our Wednesday Market (every Wednesday from 5-7) and buy a burlap coffee sack (pictured below) to help support Rudy and his wonderful coffee.
