Product of the Week- the traditional shikibuton.....the shiki style futon is a thin, all-cotton traditional futon used for centuries in fuedal Japan. Traditionall made with anything, from straw to kapok, or even feathers or wool. Commonly used in combination with Tatami or Goza mats, or directly on the floor. The modern version of this mattress type is extremely functional & easy to store away. Ideally used for zen-style living/bedding, but also great for a meditation, or yoga space in the home. Fantastic for trips away in the campervan, & oh so handy for that unexpected visitor staying the night. The Zentai 7.5cm shiki futon is made from 100% Australian cotton (carded) padding with a 100% cotton casing & T-tuft buttoning. Handmade in Byron Bay using 100% natural materials. Also available in a thicker style 10cm option for deeper cushioning. Traditionally for a much thicker depth of futon, 2 x 7.5cm options, or even a 7.5cm option combined with a 10cm option can be used.
