They are now looking for a Production Team Leader to support the Production Manager. If you have worked previously as a Production/Shift team leader in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, this opportunity is for you. The Role Manage co-ordinate, lead and inspire your Manufacturing Team to meet the overall business aims and objectives. Manage labour effectively to achieve better than budget productivity levels. Seek out and eliminate all forms of waste. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times. To ensure the facility complies with all relevant legal and technical requirements relating to product safety, at all times. To monitor the performance of our products and people to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and key stakeholders. Ensure “good manufacturing practice” (GMP) is followed at all times. Highlight to the Production Shift Manager on a daily basis to inform and advise of any issues relevant to the successful running of the plant, both day to day and longer term. Work with the Production Shift Manager to seek new technologies and automation opportunities were applicable. Carry out other duties as and when required, including covering for peers and working across other areas of the factory as required. Deputise for the Production Shift Manager in an ad hoc basis. The Person Previous food industry experience within a similar role is essential. Experience of continuous improvement environments. Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety. HACCP Certification.
