Production restarts at North Sea Rochelle field after month-long repairs Production at the Nexen operated Rochelle field in the UK North Sea was restarted October 12 after repairs were completed on the Scotts platform. Production was halted on September 15 due to repairs that had to performed on the platform’s export compressors and gas cooler. The field is currently producing 90 million standard cubic feet of gas per day with approximately 4,600 barrels of per day of associated liquids. Rochelle is a gas and condensate field located in the UK North Sea. The field spans blocks 15/26b, 15/26c and 15/27. The Scott platform is located 93 miles from Aberdeen, Scotland. Calgary-based Nexen is the operator of the field and holds a 41 percent share. Houston-based Endeavour International has a 44 percent working interest and UK-based Premier Oil has a 15 percent interest. Endeavour purchased its working interest in the field as part of a package of assets acquired from Calgary-based Talisman in 2006. petroglobalnews/2014/10/production-restarts-at-north-sea-rochelle-field-after-month-long-repairs/
