Profs. Shankar Balachandran, Hema Murthy, NS Narayanaswamy (CS, IITM) had run a highly successful pilot on Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms from March - June 2014 with a proctored exam for certification that is being wrapped up this week. Starting with about 15000 serious students, about 1150 students earned their certificates at the end of the course. Two new courses - Basic Electrical Circuits by Prof. Nagendra Krishnapura (EE, IITM) and Introduction to Programming in C by Prof. Satyadev Nandakumar (CS, IITK) - are open for registration now. These courses will run from Sep - Nov 2014 with certification exams in Dec 2014. Please do pass the word around to anyone who you think will benefit from the above courses and certification.
