Professional musicians are talented people who invest time and lots of money to become what they are. They spend money on education, equipment, books and rehearsing. They spend time rehearsing and practicing so that they deliver what gives you this joy. Behind every minute of performance there are months and even years of practice and learning. Professional musicians play music for a living, they have families to support, bills to pay, rents, school fees, etc. The least you can do when retaining one is to treat them with the respect they deserve and respect that they are entitled to receive their fees to make their living just like other professionals who spend time and money to become lawyers and doctors.
