Profile of: AG Wilfredo “Willie” Pascual Past President, Rotary Club of Tarlac Metro Our GH&S was born on Dec 26, 1947 in Rosales, Pangsasinan. He studied at Salcedo Elementary School in San Manuel, Tarlac and finished his secondary education at Rosales National High School in Rosales Pangasinan. He is a former member of the defunct Philippine Constabulary in 1970 and eventually was absorbed as Police Officer in the Philippine National Police. Having a dream to become a CPA someday, he pursue his studies at the University of the East, College of Business Administration major in Accountancy, but unfortunately, this was hampered due to his hectic schedules and various assignments in the Military Service. When he was assigned in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, he continue his studies and got a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Management at the Fort Bonifacio College (now known as Makati University). He joined the Police Officer rank when he took his Advance Police Officer Training Course at the Philippine National Police Training Institute in Baguio City. ROTARY/ RELIGIOUS BACKGROUND: Our distinguished GH & speaker was invited to join the Rotary Club of Tarlac Metro on September 2003 when he was still then the Chief of Police of San Manuel, Tarlac. Months later, when he retired from the PNP service, he devoted much of his precious time to his Club. He became the 16th President of the Rotary Club of Tarlac Metro in 2004 and held various positions in RC Tarlac Metro, Cluster 3A & District 3790 as well. As a dedicated Rotarian, he was able to assume his duties and responsibilities as evidenced by the numerous awards for his selfless commitment to Rotary. He is a recipient of 5 Club Rotarian of the Year Award in his Club, Governor’s Award for Distinguished Service, Most Outstanding Cluster Secretary, Outstanding Club Secretary and a consistent Club, Cluster and District Recognition awardee. Since he was accepted into Rotary he did always his best to perform his duty to any task assigned to him. He was also active in his religious life and affiliation, being a member of the Knights of Columbus-Council 13985 of the Saint Raphael Parish Church. Likewise, he held various key positions to the council, a recipient of 3 Knights of Columbus of the Year Awards of his Council and various distinguished service awards and recognition. He is an Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) Donor, End Polio Now Donor, Paul Harris Fellow Sustaining Member, and a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow (PHF+1) Member.
