Programmes Officer (Registration & Compliance - PORC): The Council of Social Workers (CSW) Deadline: 27 February 2014 CSW VACANCY NOTICE: PO: 2014 The Council of Social Workers (CSW), the Social Work Regulatory body in Zimbabwe has an opening for a dynamic and committed professional who wants to make a contribution to Social Work regulation in Zimbabwe. Functions - Receiving and processing registration and annual practice certificates - Decentralizing registration and re-licencing processes to all provinces - Maintaining an accurate record of the register and filing registration forms in a systematic format and uploading information on the CSW Data Management System - Distribution and dissemination of ethics and codes of conduct for professional social workers - Provide orientation for registered social workers and Employers to focus on social policy and planning issues - Upgrading and maintaining the CSW website into a robust and highly interactive interface and publishing the names of registered Social Workers annually - Carrying out compliance visits and spot checks for non-fitness to practice - Capacity building, Training Workshops and Publicity Workshops, Seminars with registered Social Workers Program functions - Oversight of implementation of Registration Processes, Post Qualifying Training offerings, and Licensing of Social Workers for Practice - Creating awareness amongst Social Workers and Employers of Social Workers on the importance of Registration and Renewal of practice certificate - Research and publish articles on the social work trends in Zimbabwe - Providing reports as required regarding registration processes in Zimbabwe.
