Progress today :). Pip Pip came out of her crate on her own and meandered around the side of the house with me. She relieved herself and then meandered right back into her crate. The sad part is not only her rear legs are a mess, but the front ones are not working very well. I was able to really observe her today. Everything is just such a great effort for this poor girl. Not to be pessimistic, however I do not think she will be with us very long. Even with the Metacam she labors to walk, and two legs is bad enough but four is not something that can go on for very long. Right now she is comfortable and if she does not decline and remains at this stage I think we will be OK for a bit.
