Project 52 Week 48! This weeks song is Antennas & Silos. Its super fresh, just came out of the oven (wrote it last Friday so its not a real tight performance) :) . Ive had this title in mind for a song ever since we were driving across the midwest making our way out to Tennessee. Its a metephore for getting out into the open spaces, clearing your mind and heading towards a new future. If youve ever driven across the farmlands of our country you will see many many cell towers and radio towers all in contrast with the farm silos. The future and the past all out in the open. To me it represents freedom AND the future. Those long drives and open spaces really let you think about things and get them into perspective. We need more of that kind of personal peace! If you ever get the chance, dont hesitate.
