With the recent opening of Canada’s longest runway and the construction of a new international terminal, this is an exciting time to be a part of the YYC Crew. The Role: Reporting to the General Manager, TCP, this position will assist Project Managers on our Terminal Connectivity Program. 1. Support Project Managers and the greater TCP team as needed. 2. Work with stakeholders, agencies, contractors, consultants, and other airport projects. 3. Utilize, develop, and monitor scheduling and issues. Produce and distribute written construction and financial reports. 4. Site inspections as needed, to monitor quality, ensuring projects are built according to plan and specifications. 5. Represent the best interests of The Calgary Airport Authority. Basic Requirements: A background in Architectural/Building Engineering and Construction. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving skills that take into consideration all aspects that may impact operations. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Customer service oriented and a professional approach; ability to interact with all levels both internally and externally. Additional Requirements: Knowledge and expertise in Airport Operations is a definite asset. Expertise in scheduling, forecasting construction activities, and working with MS Project/Primavera is an asset. Past experience working on building systems, building construction, commissioning, and correction of deficiencies would be an asset.
