Project Detail: Over the past several years weve seen a real nostalgic desire to return to and rebirth some of the 20th century’s most iconic styles. As people we have a strong yearning to recapture the textures, emotion and experiences of a particular time and place. A desire to recapture something lost and give both perspective and new life to it. Nowhere do we see this more than in cities…an urban melting pot of cultures, shapes, desires and fashion that at just the right time and with just the right raw ingredients something iconic is born. SUDZZfx Creative Director Carla Ross captures the essence in shape, form, color, texture and fashion of 15 looks from 15 cities at in our “Urban Icons” Collection. This collection is a true celebration and modernization that captures the very essence of each city at its most iconic point in time. From 1950’s Saville Row in London to 1980’s South Beach, Miami…we wanted to share with today’s hair artist how the medium itself can personify a space and time, while still being truly on trend. Working with Carla Ross and SUDZZfx, we wanted to celebrate the old and new in the medium itself, using tracking to create the illusion of a physical record of the collection in an urban setting bringing the light desk portfolio of every look to life with sound, beat and movement.
