Project Engineer Fircroft Saudi Arabia Ref: KP508-468 Fircroft The Role Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa. Coordinate Project and Discipline engineering, procurement and construction activities (FEL to project completion) related to project execution on small to medium size projects to support continuous development and improvement of the client`s site and organization. 1. Organize relevant project data and information on operating requirements, process, economic considerations, and other pertinent factors as basis for developing project proposals. 2. Responsible for the monitoring, integration and implementation of all project and discipline work processes and measurements to drive successful project deployment. 3. Adhere to defined project parameters such as safety, budget, material requirements, schedules and other specifications. 4. Prepare and maintain accurate schedules for the completion of project works and monitor risks that may adversely affect project schedules, performance and costs. 5. Formulate/review and present Project Execution Plans(s) and other proposals including details on the planning, scoping, budget and schedule estimates, and expenditure authorizations. 6. Provide appropriate and/or alternative solutions to issues raised, to secure the necessary approvals. Escalate issues impacting project schedule so they can be addressed early. 7. Assist the Project Manager and other project team members with effective use of Global Project Methodology. 8. Assist project teams with key GPM deliverables and gate reviews. 9. Support effective integration of all project team members 10. Establish guidelines, control and necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance to project requirements, EHandS standards and quality standards. 11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager. Requirements - Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline- Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred. - Thorough understanding of EHandS requirements and compliance. Communication skills, Quality of Work, Organization skills, Project Management Teamwork and Safety Conscious.
