Project Gratitude Day # 5 1) I am grateful for the wonderful world of the word WHY?It provides me with hours of wonderful dialogue with my lovely grandson Oscar Jacob Immerman and keeps my brain working overtime. 2)I am grateful to the culture of China - I grew up next to a Chinese fruiterer family in the 50s - Roy and Esme Wong and their three children- they introduced me at a very young age to their culture and food.Their range of dishes,flavours and their ability to provide an amazing eating ambience never fails to surprise and satisfy - not to mention the amazing tastes they bring to duck! Thankyou Kevin Immerman for arranging an amazing meal in Singapore for friends and family. 3)I am grateful that in this fragmented political world environment,it is still possible to have a passionate discussion with friends from different cultural backgrounds and agree to disagree on some issues without fear of offence,find common ground on others and finish the evening with an embrace and know that there is a common bond of love and understanding. I nominate Roman Matla and Carol Rothschild to join Project Gratitude and add three thoughts per day for a week with two nominations per day accordingly.
