Project code SSP 0074 Reflecting on the past, understanding the present and gazing to the future A MoU has been signed by Dr. P.S Ahuja, Director of Institute of Himalayan Bio resource Technology (CSIR), Palampur (H.P.) NOW DIRECTOR GENERAL CSIR and Mr. Sanjay Bhushan, President of Golden Falcon Foundation and Research Centre (GFFRC), Faridabad on 16th February 2012 for collaboration in Scientific and Industrial Research, in Delhi and NCR region for 5 years. CSIR-IHBT ‘s mission is to provide consultancy and technical support and supply of Certified bamboo Germ-O Plasma, suitable for any selected Agro-Climatic Zone within the country by the GFFRC .The CSIR-IHBT will train the personnel from GFFRC in bamboo multiplication and maintenance of the plantations. Apart from the above it also agrees to provide an Industrial R & D base for establishment, up gradation and sustainable management of bio resources in the County through agro-technology, processing technology and biotechnology for the benefit of the people at the national level. The MOU will enhance and strengthen the ties amongst the above two organizations through exchange of ideas, techniques, results, experience and personnel in order to build up and improve the working relations of the institutions involved encompassing a number of aspects of scientific and commercial importance in the area of Biotechnology and Environmental Science.
