Project in Values Education IV: A message to my future children. Title: What lies in the word best? If the narration is somewhat unclear, feel free to read the whole message below: Hello, there my children! Hahahaha. This video was created in order to have you imparted on my most significant realizations in life. It mainly focuses on my own definition of ‘best’ as I have experienced it. Okay, let’s go! I have entered high school in this propelling institution, the Bulacan State University Laboratory High School, having in mind that this four-letter word simply means the finest, the purely-selected among the other options, and the one. Well, probably, Earth has given us the best stones which are diamonds, the best gift that we can offer to somebody is love, and no other than success is the best susceptibility in life. Let’s begin by considering those bright, sparkling diamonds. Of course, no one can possibly say that he or she has never been allured by those special gems. But what is it that makes them so special? The answer in rarity. Rarity is a condition that sets out every things value in place. With this, I want you to act naturally in our society. You are unique in your own way, thus, you, too, are rare. And you know, the rarest things are given the most special treatments. Keep in mind that there’s always someone who tends to care for you at the greatest extents. Successively, what a feeling it is to be loved and to have loved! And it’s absolutely not wrong to love almost all the persons around you, it’s like showing kindness every time. But when that very moment of having the right one arrives, you must learn to concentrate your feelings to him or her, meaning, he or she is now the optimum for you. And before you reach success, you’ll surely encounter a number of dilemmas along your pilgrimage in life. Every person and thing has its own worth and best capabilities as much. Yet, the act of choosing is a sort of inevitable occurrence. Bear in mind that when you’re making decisions, you don’t mean to set aside others only because of your sudden needs or emotions. If you do, regrets, perhaps, would arise in your existence. Oh, I remember a friend’s post on Facebook! If you were so fortunate that you were given a published story of your own, would you excitedly jump to the conclusive part? I replied, “No!” for life is such a tricky thing that you must endure here on Earth, like a cosmic enigma is surrounding our world. Therefore, I’m telling you, life is at its best, like a one-of-a-kind movie being aired in a theater house. It’s full of magic, tragedy, beauty, and mystery that makes up a very interesting show, enchanting the hearts of all its viewers. It’s perfectly made, right? Going beyond, you should never support a mistake by another. You’ll just end up to a point of absolute mess. Day and night it will bother you and make you undergo stress. Also, procrastination, for me, is not bad. It’s just a way of regenerating your own after a tedious activity. I don’t oblige you to work hard all the time but use this chance to enhance your capacity for the upcoming obstacles in life. Summing these up, I just wanna let you know that “many” things actually lie on the word best. Open the locks on your head saying that something’s best when it’s already incomparable, for most of the time, the best ones come in clusters. After youve got all these, it’s up to you to whether still search for the ‘best of the best’ or just keep what you accumulated. In fact, everything around you is best ‘cause they are God-given. Individual differences then, is just the mere conflict.
