ProjectSave Devotional Friday, 14th, Nov 2014. HOW TO MAKE GOD ACT Ex2:24-25- God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob... He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act. NLT The children of Israel had spent over 400years in an agonizing slavery. When the oppression became unbearable, they couldnt cry but had to groan. Sometimes, pain gets to a level where you cant cry anymore but all youll be left with is to groan. When they groaned, God knew that they have reached their limit so it was time for him to act. Do you want God to act on your matter? Please groan. Many a times, we manage our conditions and we tend to relax in prayers because there still seems to be one-sided comfort but when youre pushed to the wall and theres no way for you, the only way of escape is to groan. In the new testament, we groan by praying in the Holy Ghost. Rom8:26 made it clear that the Spirit of God help us in prayers through groanings that ordinary words cant explain. Glory! When youre faced with a mysterious problem in life, counter that problem with the higher mystery of groaning in the HolyGhost. Set your heart on that issue and pray about it in the HolyGhost. Make it a point of duty to pray in the Spirit daily. PRAYER:- Father, I receive grace to engage the Spirit daily In Jesus Name.
