ProjectSave Devotional Wednesday, 22nd, Jan 2014. THE VICTORY PARADE Col2:15- In this way, he disarmed spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. In the ancient Roman empire, when a general is victorious at war, he publicly display his victory for all to see. That was exactly what Jesus did when he fought demoniacal forces in the grave and His resurrection was a public show of shame to the devil and his cohorts. By virtue of our redemption in Him, we share in that same victory. We are not to fight demons nor powers, we are called to fight only the good fight of faith, if you are in any other fight, you are in the wrong fight. When you pray warfare prayers, have it at the centre of your mind that Christ has fought and won the real battle, youre only enforcing the victory of the cross with Gods word in your mouth&faith in your heart. CONFESSION. I walk in the reality of the victory of the cross, I refuse to be tormented by demons. I triumph over forces of darkness, sickness and shame In Jesus Name
