#Project_Manager #F_and_B #Riyadh #Saudi_Arabia #Job Description: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. •Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. •Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. •Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. •Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. •Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. •Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. •Oversees the general contractor and his sub-contractors to ensure that the project is constructed according to construction documents and applicable codes and applicable laws. •Coordinate project activities with activities of government, regulatory, or other agencies. •Manages operations to facilitate the use of human and automated resources to achieve maximum productivity and profitability. •Reviews ongoing performance results and identifies needs of employees. Implements coaching or mentoring partnerships as appropriate. •Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement.Communicates clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability. •Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, processes, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers. •Develops employees for future advancement when possible. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES •Manages the Project Department staff. •Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Desired Profile: •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, a related field or equivalency required. •Five years professional experience in the construction industry plus two years project management experience and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required. •Experience in construction contracting, cost accounting, estimating and value engineering preferred. •Maintains a valid Drivers License. Key Skills: •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. •Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. •Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. gulfmanagers/jobsd-5492-project-manager-f-b.html
