Projetos magnificos (DIY): Help making a DIY Concrete Wall Radiator, Long story short, Im making a feature wall, and I have a lot of new copper pipes and fittings, but I dont want to put a cheap radiator on it to replace the original, and I cant really afford a nice one. I saw a designer radiator made of stone and Im aware that people have run pipes in concrete as underfloor heating, so Id like to explore as an option making a radiator out of concrete, while warming up the room. The copper pipes I have are 15mm, and I suspect that I would need to run them in a specific pattern to maximize thermal output. Ive considered I may need to add copper fins to the pipes to help with this, but Ive also considered adding copper shavings and copper powder to the concrete mixture to tint and increase thermal transfer. Is this a bad idea? What can I do to improve? submitted by hatrix[link] [comment] (ift.tt/VmdQyJ) via Reddit DIY
