Prolotherapy has proven to be a very successful treatment option for post-stroke pain. Prolotherapy injections cause the start of ligament and tendon growth. It appears to be the stimulation of this growth that is registered in the spinal cord and/or brain that shuts down the pain-provoking stimulus. Since post-stroke or post-nerve injury pain syndromes appear to have no real treatment, Prolotherapy is an excellent treatment option choice.
