Prom-date rejection investigated in school killing. 16-year-old Maren Sanchez turned down a boys invitation to be his prom date at their Connecticut high school; she already had a boyfriend she was going with. Weeks ago, she picked out her dress (below) & was excited about the event. Today, only hours before the dance was to start, she was stabbed to death. The suspect was taken away in cuffs.
