Promises Of God... I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. - Isa 45:2-3 One day the LORD met Balaam the corrupt prophet, and put a word in his mouth, then he took up his oracle and said to Balak the king that hired him to curse the people of Israel for him, rise up and hear! Listen to me, son of Zippor! “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox. “For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’ (Numbers 23:16, 18-23 NKJV) Indeed God is not a man that promises and fails. No matter how spiritual and gentle a man is, he must fail you one day especially in the day you needed him most. But God never fails, He has promised saying I will go before you and He will not fail you; He who calls you is faithful, Who also will do it. (I Thessalonians 5:24 NKJV) > Lets consider the four things out of todays text in Isa 45:2-3, God promised His anointed man saying: 1. I will go before you and will level the mountains. > Theres no mountain of problem that your God cannot level. He has moved them from before you and said, Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. (Mark 11:22-23 NKJV) + Your duty is to believe and speak forth, it is called standing on the promise of God that saved and called you; God is the one doing the leveling/solving the mountain/problem (Mk 9:24; 10:27). 2. I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. > Theres no gate of obstacle, nor bar of hindrance that can stop the operation of God in and through you. God will not only break them down, but will give you breakthrough wherever you are/go; For He says, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19 NKJV) + You and God are both inseparable and unstoppable. As Paul said, Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 NKJV) > He gives the victory - 1Cor 15:57. 3. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places. > Therere hidden treasures and riches the natural man cannot have except those redeemed of the Lord. Its called the treasures of His kingdom and the riches of His glory; But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (I Corinthians 2:9-12 NKJV) + Gods gifts to you are irrevocable. He will never change His mind even when you change, His love is stronger than your faults; As prophet Jeremiah said, The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. (Jeremiah 31:3-4 NKJV) > No more regrets for you, but rejoicing - Phil 4:4-9,13,19. 4. So that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. > Theres a purpose why God saved, called, chose and sent you with promises to go before you; leveling the mountains of problem; breaking down gates of obstacle and cut through bars of hindrance; and give you hidden treasures of His kingdom, riches stored in glory. • That purpose is for you to know that; + That same God that led the Israelites out of Egypt the house of bandage is with you! + That same God that divided the Red Sea for the Israelites to pass through on dry land is with you! + That same God that gave them victory over all their enemies are with you! + That same God that established the Israelites in the land flowing with milk and honey is with you! + That same God who chose Israelites has equally chosen you to show forth His praises in the land of the living - 1Pet 2:9-10. • Finally, Gods promises to you are signed, sealed and delivered; For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. (II Corinthians 1:20-22 NKJV) > His promises are unconditional, none of it depends on you but on your faith in Christ Jesus; But the LORD is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten. (Jeremiah 20:11 NKJV) + The living God of Israel is with you, and none of His good words concerning you shall fail in Jesus Name! Amen! Stand On His Promises! - Heb 10:23,35f.
