Promoting muscle and burning fat, if weight training is strenuous enough while being supported by a good diet, with high protein, complex carbs and healthy fats we can do both! while building muscle we are first tearing the muscle down to be built back bigger and stronger, this takes maintenance and recovery, which in turn will burn calories some of which will be from fat cells. When in the gym it is always better to perform your weight session first then finish with cardio, this way the body is already in the fat burning zone,. Those who only perform cardio in the gym I feel would be better organising a weight session to run alongside, if there goal is to have a lean muscular body, or for woman that toned healthy look! After this you should always pay your body back with good high protein nutrition, in the form of a recovery type shake immediately after training....
