Pronounced as the Great Mother of the Nizhoni elves, the spiritual and political leader, Nethis’s deeds amongst the plainswalking elves are nothing but miraculous. From healing the sick to defending her kind from the threats that loom out of the dwarven carved mountains to the west of their home and a new threat of banding pirates that poach the scarce resources, Nethis has proven her loyalty to not only to her people but above all to the dragon deity Netheria, the dragon from which life itself is sustained on Elendim and the powers that come with such a charge. Nethis’s origins are unknown even to her closest shamans and clerics. The only known thing about her is most of her physical features that set her apart from the rest of her kin, the long bright fiery red hair and the bright green glowing eyes are nothing short of a mystery to the rest of the elves but are a marvelous feat of respect from everyone none the less. Recently however, there were claims that Nethis was a deceiver from one of the hand maidens that she saw in a vision, Nethis appearing with horns and wings like a sort of dark and evil creature. Though Nethis was angry at the outbreak, it was her warchieftein that eventually exiled the maiden. With this outbreak there started a split between the Nizhoni of belligerent elves that stated they refused to sit back idley while war came to their borders and hence the Azhoni tide formed and took refuge to the far west borders of the island. Heartbroken at such a breakdown in the society, Nethis resides in her chambers in constant debate of whether to break to truth to her kin or not and what that decision could mean either way.
