Proof of UPA govts good work - 27 September 2014: Jayalalitha convicted in disproportionate asset case and the quantum of punishment is 4 years. Now she has to resign as the CM and will not be able to contest elections. Applause! But dont forget what happened exactly an year ago. 27 September 2013: Rahul Gandhi stormed into a press conference and trashed the ordinance that could have saved Jayalalithas political career and she could have continued as the CM of TN. Many ridiculed him for taking a stand against his own party and the Government then and they may continue doing so, but that wont change the fact.
