Proper manners for taking your dog out... 1) If you are taking your dog to the vet, doggy daycare, groomer, kennel, pet store etc, always make sure they are on a leash. The collar should fit correctly and not be able to slip over the dogs head. 2) Dont let go of the leash! Its a safety thing really. Not all other dogs and people are as friendly as you & your dog. 3) Dont be embarrassed if your dog urinates or poops while visiting any of these places. Its not a problem, their dogs, it happens. A lot! Every day! Just be sure to notify the staff so they can clean it up properly. 4) Make sure if you are dropping your dog off for services you leave a phone number where you can be reached. 5) Always ask othe rpeople if it is ok for your dog to approach
