Properly sad day for British Cycling. Most of you reading this wont have a clue how important he is, but Steve was the old hat at MBUK even when I started reading it back in the 90s! I remember once reading that hed claimed to have magazine tested more than 1000 different mountain bikes, and that was sometime in the late 90s still! Never met the guy, but have probably ridden millions of words he had contributed to various magazines over the decades. RIP Steve!
