Prophecies not yet Fulfilled Have all the Prophecies about the Son of God been fulfilled? Prophets right from Moses prophesied about Jesus Christ the only Saviour. But only 15% of these prophecies were fulfilled in First Coming of the Saviour 2000 years ago. The Son of God will be born of a Virgin. He will teach about the Kingdom of God. He will be rejected by the People of God. He will take upon himself the sins of his people and atone for their sins dying on the Cross. He will resurrect from the dead. He will ascend to the right side of God the Father. etc. Such prophecies were fulfilled in the First Coming of Jesus Christ. The remaining 85% of prophecies are to be fulfilled in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. With the winnowing for he will clear his threshing granary and will gather wheat into the granary and chaff will be burned with unquenchable fire (Mt. 3:12). He will reveal His Father’s Name to his brethren (Heb. 2:11-12). He will give Eternal Life to his Sheep (Jn. 10:27—28). He will take away the sin in his People (Jn. 1:29). He will annihilate death for ever (Is. 25:6-9). He will rule all nations with an iron rod (Rev. 12:5, 19:15-16, Dan. 7:13-14). He will hand over the Kingdom to His Father , after he has destroyed every rule, every authority and power (1 Cor. 15:24, Col. 1:22). He will faithfully execute the Righteous Judgement (Is. 42:1-4, Rev. 22:12-13, Mt. 16:27), etc. All the prophecies that were fulfilled in the First Coming of Jesus Christ were fulfilled in him when he was on this earth. Similarly the remaining 85% of prophecies must and will also be fulfilled in him when he (the Son of God) is on this earth. Behold, the time has come for these prophecies to be fulfilled! The Lord will come to Zion as Redeemer, to those in Jacob who have turned from transgression, says the Lord.
