Prophet pbuh came to teach people deen and to facilitate things to people. He sallalaho alayhi wassalam said: Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam). (Sahih al Bukhari) We on the other hand have facebook shyukhs turning people away from deen and following the exact opposite approach i-e by making deen difficult and by giving them bad tidings. Deen is very simple. Some people make it so complex and bitter that a common person thinks 1000 times about coming to deen. Change does not come by bashing everyone on facebook. This is not how Prophet (pbuh) and sahaba brought change. They did more work on people and negligible bashing through letters (social media of that time). They were actually workers. Not bashers.
