Prophet (saw) said: Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well. (Thirmidi) So here is the math, you will get about 33,200,000 million rewards for reading the entire Quran. But that is not the shocking part, since it is Ramadan and EVERY good deed is multiplied, that number is increased DRASTICALLY: According to some narrations, good deeds are multiplied by 70 during this holy month, so this can be the potential (inshaallah) amount of rewards for those who complete reading the Quran: 2,324,000,000 BILLION rewards.
