Prophets Expose Idolatry Idolatry is more than worshiping images. Idolatry is anything that replaces God. Worship and exaltation of men, power, possessions, groups, and fame is nothing but idolatry. Covetousness is called idoatry. Prophets are fierce opponents of idols. Prophets stand against idolatry creeping into the church. #prophets Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
