Proposed Reduction of Speed Limit from 60mph to 40mph - A9 Torwood Falkirk Council has published a draft Order to reduce the speed limit on a stretch of the A9 in Torwood from 60mph to 40mph in the interests of road safety. The total stretch of road proposed for the reduction is 488 metres. (From just before the former Torwood School site to just passed the entrance to Castle Terrace). If you have any observations or objections they must be made in writing to Falkirk Council by 17th October 2013 - comments can be e-mailed to [email protected] The Community Council will discuss the proposed reduction at our meeting on Monday 30th September. We would welcome any comments in order that we can consider as many views as possible on the proposals and determine whether there are any comments which we wish to make.
