Propping up the miners as they rip our resource wealth from the country for minimal profits that mostly go to foreign entities while closing down the rest of our economy is astounding in its incompetence & the obvious corruption driving it. The pinnacle of this stupidity is damaging the fabric that builds our intellectual property base & the economic flexibility & potential that comes from it. This is a well proven evidence based economic principal & wilful ignorance of it by our leaders across the board is both a disgrace & frightening. These C.S.I.R.O. cuts link up with the retrograde incompetent Abbott intention of placing pricing impediments on education with increased uni fees. Further enabling wealthy corrupt greedy fools to occupy our learning facilities at the expense of people more intellectually competent is the pinnacle of stupidity & long term economic suicide. Merit & best practice should be the only criteria for who this nation invests its education dollar in. Corruption drives virtually everything else & evidence clearly demonstrates this is irrefutable. This brings into play both the ethical & credible economic principals that demand education be isolated from this corruption. Circumstances of birth are impacted throughout life by the endemic corruption that is consistent & not likely to change so it is reasonable to give those not fortunate enough to be born advantaged, the single opportunity of a reasonably level playing field that is the education system. It it so bad that the greedy corrupt cant even allow children one aspect of their lives that gives them some sort of uncorrupted level playing field ? This issue of education covers both ethics & best practice economic strategy in one clean justifiable hit. It is a opportunity to grasp the most significant bang for the buck while at the same time empowering everyone with the sense of fairness that is probably the most significant positive driver available to any nation. If people sense they are given a fair go, they can endure just about any thing. Education is a bullseye centring on children, a fair go & obvious best practice economic principals. If the Liberals cant see this then the whole of the Australian population needs to properly grasp this key monumentally significant point. This ironically is an intelligence test that if failed, will see Australia become an empty mine & the world astounded at the lost opportunity this country of incredible plenty let slip through their fingers. This certainly aint rocket science !!!!!!
