Props for #DucksCovers Ive been plagued for the last 2 weeks with something on my mind and finally determined that if I could get it far enough along to snap a pic that I was gonna get it said. I laid my 11LE down a couple of months back and incurred some road rash on the intake cover. Ive gotten most all of it put back together now with the help of my local Suzie dealer, but right after it happened, as I was encircling it and accessing the damage, I had an epiphany to get the damaged area removed with a mod from Ducks Covers. But after several pics and a dozen emails we finally determined that the damaged area was a little bigger than he preferred to work around. Soooo I figured what the heck, its not like Im going to hurt it, Ill give it a shot myself!! Itll be a fun project right!? 2 weeks later and every minute of spare time I could muster and about 3 more days that I couldnt afford to give up, close to $200 worth of Dremel accessories, half a dozen trips to various hardware stores, and a marriage in jeopardy due to the status of the kitchen table, and I think Ive gotten them far enough along to return them back to my Suzie dealer mechanic for install tomorrow. I think Duck gets maybe somewhere around $225 for doing a set of these to a stock templated design,,, but unless he has a C&C router set up and a Chinese sweatshop out-back cranking these things out,,, hes giving away the store! Kudos to your craft my friend,, you need to go up on your price! Heres what I got so far, still got some touch-ups and cleanups to do before packing them up tonight, so go easy on the criticism,,, thats a big chunk of 2 weeks worth of frustration, insufficiency, and several personal battles of inadequacy! Anyway,,, if he quotes you $500 for a set of those, count it a blessing and a DEAL!
