Prospecting Story... Yesterday I went to Crest foods to shop for a BBQ at a friends house. I had all of my children with me. On the way in the store and on the way out of the I was pitched by a nice young lady for the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. I told her no both times. I went back today...shes still there pitching. I stopped and got the paper...not that I wanted the paper but I was drawn to her dogged consistency and I wanted to meet such a person as she had collected more NOs over the last two days than any other human being on the planet! As I signed up for the paper I asked her how long she has been doing this. She said Ive been in sales for 15 years. I asked if all 15 of it had been with the paper. She said heavens no...just a few months, why what do you do? As you can imagine I gave her my card. She said she had been looking at a company recently and couldnt think of the name. As we kept talking she said the name of the company was Herbalife. When, I asked her who introduced her to it, she said the media...that she kept reading all about it so shes spent the last week researching it. Just so you know, lots of people are looking at Network Marketing. Lots of good sales people are looking for an extra income stream. I have no idea if shell join with me...but I was glad to meet another sales professional and she inspired the heck out of me the last two days! Be aware of your surroundings...good people are everywhere!
