Protest of AISF against FYUP in D.U. AISF, along with other democratic student organization protested against FYUP and on the issues related to students of D.U. A students’ march started from Arts Faculty in North Campus and after taking a round of all colleges, march culminated at the gate of Arts Faculty in the form of DHARNA and a public meet took place. On the behalf of AISF Satyam says that more than 2 weeks have passed since the new academic session started and FYUP has actually been put into implementation and it is high time for students to fight for their rights, otherwise they have to suffer. Students also criticize existing DUSU office bearers for being silent on genuine issues. Then a delegation was called by D.U administration in which Amit Kumar , state secretary AISF , stating that D.U is now acting against the students and put forth the following demands:- 1. Scrap FYUP. 2. Re-store previous three year bachelor course. 3. Books of all courses should be available in libraries for each and every student. 4. Make new hostels for students who have come from other states. 5. Increase seats in all courses.
