Proud Mom Moment: So, Im thrilled about Quincey making the junior high basketball team. Im happy that she is seeing her hard work pay off. Yet, what she is most excited about is the bb lockers are Big enough for me to fit inside! Maybe I should have encouraged contortionism, instead of hoops. Not So Proud Mom Moment: So, Cooper has a project due in class today. He has to be able to use his talent to help the group succeed in their presentation. His talent (others are good at making the poster, public speaking, organization, handwriting) is that he will place the tip of the pencil in his belly button, hold it there for a few seconds and use his belly muscles to launch the pencil in the air to his teammate. : / He demonstrated for me yesterday. Although it is horrifically fascinating to watch, Im a little mortified that this is his talent.
