Proud mom moment....Bailey made the war canoe team for her tribe at camp. Initially, they had her practicing the BOW position, but after the first 2 weeks of practice they decided to have the TEEN girl in that position. She was upset at first, but she pretty gracefully moved into the Alternate position which helps with logistics and cheering. But then the beginning of this week, they were reconsidering other options for the boat and tried her back in as 1st bar...she worked hard again, but I hated to see her get her hopes up and be disappointed all over again, afterall she is only 11! But today, the letter came from her with the big news...She is officially in the boat for the final race as 1st bar and is freaking out with excitement, plus a whole lot of nervousness! One thing Ill give her, that girl never gives up!
