Proud mom moment... (My kids know how I think and what I would do in every situation) When I went to get Destiny last night from the Ryan Brewington memorial slow pitch tournament I got out and said hi to some people I knew. Josh was selling raffle tickets for a rather expensive slow pitch bat. I was standing close to a group of guys I recognized bit didnt know. I told Des to go get my wallet. A man hands me two five dollar bills. I said whats this for? He said for some tickets. I replied with I was going to buy 5. He said well now you can buy 7. I decided to put another $10 with it and get 10 tickets. Simply because I enjoy paying it forward. $40 dollars and 10 tickets later we WON the bat. Now things went a little bit different had I been there but my son knows what I would of done and he presented the bat back to the pinchitters (which I believe was Ryans team) a player on the team gave Dylan money for the bat but what he dont know is that money is going back to the Brewingtons! This was a fundraiser! I will absolutely NOT make a profit from it. I think thats just wrong! Not much has made me smile in the last week but knowing my son did the right thing not only warms my heart but makes me proud. Pay it forward people!! ❤️
