Proud to attend the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerces Valor Awards Program today. This annual awards luncheon honored our extraordinary first responders in Fairfax County, including police, firefighters, sheriffs and EMTs who put their life on the line every single day, protecting the citizens of Fairfax County. I always find it very humbling to hear the many stories of heroism and bravery made by these impressive individuals. Congratulations to all of todays well deserved Valor Award recipients, including our four-legged hero Canine Garo from Virginias Task Force 1, who assisted in a human remains recovery mission in Kyrgyzstan with the FBI.
