Proudly Introducing from MEDUSA our NGO Partner LAKSHYAM.... Lakshyam is an NGO devoted to the destitute and suppressed communities, especially women and children. Since last eight years, Lakshyam has been working towards child development & women empowerment across seven states in India. Established for the welfare of mankind and the society at large, the not-for-profit organisation has been engaged in a number of social welfare activities. Its been successfully headed by RAASHI ANAND... The key areas of the establishment include child welfare, education, health, empowerment (women in particular) and promoting practical, effective and innovative solutions to improve lives of the not so privileged communities. Over the years, Lakshyam has expanded its scope of activities and enhanced its efforts by initiating various camps, workshops and programs like Butterfly, a child welfare and education program, Lakshyam Toy Library, a need based approach, and Rooh: Awakening Women’s Soul, a program to empower the suppressed women of India. Each year JUDITH LEIBER COUTURE an international brand select a logo of one of the established NGOs of the world and make a clutch based on its log and for the year 2014 they have selected the Logo (Hands of Hearts) of LAKSHYAM... During the course of our journey, Lakshyam has been supported by several sought after Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and others. Several corporates like Bajaj Capital, Safexpress, eBay India, Hang Out, WhoMi etc. have lend a helping hand with their services. Our work has also been appreciated by Ms. Sheila Dikshit (Former Chief Minister of Delhi), Dr. Farooq Abdullah (Former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir), Dr. Kiran Bedi (Retired IPS Officer and a social activist), and Ms. Sharmila Tagore (Veteran film actress and a National Award recipient).
