Prov. 23:18-19 Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off. Listen, my son, and be wise, And direct your heart in the way.… Until the desire to walk forward is greater than the pains that hold you to your past... you will not move. Until the brightness of what God has up ahead is more desirable to you than the darkness that hides you in your regret and anguish... you will not rise up and walk. Until you look for, and receive the new vision up ahead for you... yesterdays struggles will consistently bind you with painful, biting chords of a time, a place, and a circumstance that cannot be redone, undone, or altered. We cannot step back in time. But we can walk bravely into our future. The enemy always seeks to draw our attention and our eyes backward.... for he knows that as long as he can keep our efforts, our energies, and our mind in what HAS been... we will never advance and create what COULD be. Satan knows.. that IF you get your hope moving forward.... IF you set your eyes on things of faith from above.... IF you release the pains and fears that keep you tied and tethered to dark corners where continual weeping, condemnation and regret lie in wait to drag you back into misery.... IF you walk up to that Red Sea and take once step forward into it... IF you allow your cry to become a Warriors Cry... and not a worriers cry.... He knows.... you will taste the sweet seasoning of victory! The enemy knows... the MOMENT you become hungry for what is miraculous, what is possible in Christ, what is fantastic, overcoming, destined, and promised for you from God---- the desire to satisfy THAT hunger....trumps any pain of emptiness that comes from loss, lack, despair, regret, mistakes, difficulty or indifference! A man or woman with his or her eyes on the prize and the vision up in front of them.... is a man or woman who WILL obtain! You will obtain that prize! The goal. The dream. The destination. The place. The position. The purpose. The plan. The future created for you?... You shall have it. Prov. 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish.. Hab. 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. See it. Hear it. Know it. Believe it. Get your eyes on it. Write it. Make it plain. So...that...you...may... RUN...with...it! Run TO it, and run WITH it. Run to it. And run with it. Amen. Hab. 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. It has an appointed time. Gods time. It DOES speak. It does NOT lie. Though it seems to YOU... to delay, or be tardy; to linger afar off, or not be coming at all... IT IS COMING. It surely IS coming! God says it will NOT tarry... though to you it seems to be. Its coming. And how many of you know that if you are appointed and set to catch a train on a specific schedule made by the conductor--- you need to be standing, waiting at the designated place in the the train terminal FOR it. If you are still hiding behind a wall in the shadows of your past... you wont see it when it comes. You wont prepare for it so that it arrives. You wont be on board with what God has truly planned for you. Sometimes you just have to tell your feelings and your emotions to step off! And SPEAK to your heart, and direct it in the way it should go. Prov. 23:18-19 Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off.
