Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue….” It’s not my fault! [How many times have we heard this?] Life is too short to blame others for how we choose to act. So often people blame a parent, friend, spouse, even God for what goes wrong in their lives. Our life is our choice. [ I realize this is a tough one today--hang with me though.] God uses the negative and positive times in our lives to build our character. No matter what we have been through, gone through, or done. Saying the words, “It’s my fault.” will gain us respect in the world we live in today. Mistakes are always forgivable if we have the courage to admit them. We can’t soar with the eagles if we keep acting like a chicken nugget. Let’s take responsibility. Own up, grow up, look up, and throw our arms up to the Lord in praise!
