Proverbs 18 (my favorite verse): 18:5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. The other day I wrote a post on here saying that I was going to begin to check my inner circle and rid myself of those who could not admonish me according to the word of God. For example, people have MANY ideas of how one should operate in dating - (Wordly views vs. Godly views) while dating presents its own challenges alone (without advice). So, if I have friends who watch LOVE & HIP-HOP more than they read their BIBLE (would it be wise of me to talk to them about a relationship)??? Question: Whats feeding you? Does wickedness feed you or have you overthrown Gods word in ALL aspects of life to judgement (calling Gods word bad because its NOT POPULAR and Love & HIP HOP good because its quite popular). ~Pew Check (assessing the inner circle) beginning with "ME"! p.s. Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. ~God has Blessed me with Godly friends but I must & will continue to grow in him allowing him to show me who belongs in the inner circle and who does not.
