Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you accept my words, and treasure my commandments, א. בְּנִי אִם תִּקַּח אֲמָרָי וּמִצְוֹתַי תִּצְפֹּן אִתָּךְ: 2. to make your ear attentive to wisdom, [if] you incline your heart to discernment; ב. לְהַקְשִׁיב לַחָכְמָה אָזְנֶךָ תַּטֶּה לִבְּךָ לַתְּבוּנָה: 3. for, if you call for understanding [and] raise your voice for discernment, ג. כִּי אִם לַבִּינָה תִקְרָא לַתְּבוּנָה תִּתֵּן קוֹלֶךָ: 4. if you seek it like silver, and hunt for it like treasures, ד. אִם תְּבַקְשֶׁנָּה כַכָּסֶף וְכַמַּטְמוֹנִים תַּחְפְּשֶֹנָּה: 5. then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and you will find the knowledge of God. ה. אָז תָּבִין יִרְאַת יְהוָה וְדַעַת אֱלֹהִים תִּמְצָא: 6. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth [come] knowledge and discernment. ו. כִּי יְהוָה יִתֵּן חָכְמָה מִפִּיו דַּעַת וּתְבוּנָה:
