Proverbs 2:11. Discretion Shall Preserve Thee, Understanding Shall Keep Thee Thought for the Day: Let Your Words And Actions Begin With Discretion Reflection for Day: Understanding Allows For Sound Judgement When one is under attack it is easy to respond too quickly with words or with actions that create greater problems. As one seeks to understand both the attacks and the potential results, they are in a better position to respond properly. Always let your words and actions begin with discretion; the results will please you. Discretion allows the saint to exercise care in what they say or do. As you pray seek the Lord for understanding that you might always act with wisdom and concern for all. The right word at the right time brings peace, words spoken inappropriately create chaos. Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee.
