Proverbs 20:19 “A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.” Message: Passing bad comments, spreading rumors and gossiping about a third person are all bad attitudes, which some people have it as a habit. Without knowing about who that person actually is, without knowing what actually happened, people start to gossip about them very badly. We think that only women are fond of gossiping but even men do. They never understand that, how their words and actions would hurt the other person’s feelings/emotions. If you are not into a practice of gossiping, then be aware and stay away from people who do that. If not, they will put you into tough situations, where you would surely regret for their company. Realize that gossiping is a very bad habit and you are no one to judge others and speak anything against them without proving it right. So, never betray the confidence of other people. Instead of gossiping about them, if you know that the situation is true, be straight-forward and correct them if they are really wrong. Ask first before attempting to spread stories that you heard or things you just assume or observe. Be a blessing. Be blessed!
