Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Dear Christian, You cannot make it alone. Jesus death proves it. Scripture says, And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Any one who is their own and only counsel is prejudice toward his/her self. Even a judge recuses himself when the case involves his self interest. Accountability and counsel requires another perspective to catch blind spots that can destroy your life. Proverbs 12:15 ESV The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. Proverbs 11:14 ESV Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Proverbs 19:20-21 ESV Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. Proverbs 15:22 ESV Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed. 2 Timothy 3:16 ESV All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, Psalm 119:105 ESV Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Proverbs 28:26 ESV Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. Proverbs 20:18 ESV Plans are established by counsel; by wise guidance wage war. Proverbs 4:13 ESV Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.
