I was indirectly fishing for praise. I was subtly saying, Look at me! Im important! Im significant! Pride bombs are unnecessary statements we make that puff ourselves up. We have all done it on occasion - havent we? Sadly, some people become so proficient at pride bombs that they arent aware they do it. A Spanish proverb reads, Tell me what you brag about, and Ill tell you what you lack. Lets turn it around.
